Corporate Grants

Chiquita Brands International welcomes requests for support throughout the year. Please review our giving guidelines, which include programs, eligibility and restrictions. Since the company receives funding requests far in excess of its annual contribution program budget, it must often decline support to worthy organizations and programs. Such a response does not reflect in any way a negative appraisal of the prospective organization or the value of its services.

In order to access the application, an applicant must pass the eligibility quiz. This short quiz assesses whether a request meets the grant criteria and prevents an applicant from dedicating the time and effort to complete a full application when the request does not meet the requirement for grants.

Passing the eligibility quiz does not ensure that a grant will be awarded. Applicants who pass the eligibility quiz must then complete and submit the entire application. All eligible requests will be reviewed, and applicants will be notified in writing by e-mail whether they will receive funding.

Approved applicants are required to complete a detailed grant report within 30 days after project completion. Failure to complete the report will suspend an organization’s eligibility for future funding from any grants program from Chiquita Brands International.
