Quick Chiquita Banana Split Smoothie
This quick and easy smoothie recipe takes the classic banana split on the go.

Ingredients:

    • 2 whole very ripe (fresh or frozen) Chiquita® bananas
    • 3 cup Ice
    • 1/2 cup Vanilla yogurt
    • 1/4 cup Chocolate syrup
    • 8 Maraschino cherries
    • 2 Tbsp. Chocolate chips or crushed nuts (optional)

Instructions:

Put Chiquita Bananas, yogurt and cherries in a blender, add chocolate chips and ice and blend on high until smooth (roughly 60 to 90 seconds). NOTE: Adding ice last helps with the blending process.

I take away the ice, add pineapple and whisk all together. I like optional chocolate syrup instead of the chocolate chips. This is the closest thing to a healthy banana split you can imagine! Thanks for the tip! Mary
