Featured Projects
Environmental Education
The Nogal Nature and Community Project is a conservation effort in Northeastern Costa Rica. For the past six years, Chiquita has had a strong partnership with our valued customer Migros Supermarket chain, the German Agency for Technical Cooperation (GTZ), and the Rainforest Alliance, which is dedicated to the promotion of sustainable agriculture.
Sea Turtle Conservation

The San San Pond Sak wetlands are located on the Caribbean coast of Panama, a little over three miles north of Changuinola in the most northwesterly part of the Province Bocas del Toro.

In 1993, the area was declared wetlands of international importance. It represents an important habitat for water birds and for different animal species that are in danger of extinction. Endangered sea turtles require special attention on behalf of the authorities and conservationist organizations, and Chiquita is involved in this effort along with our partner REWE and other organizations like CORBANA from Costa Rica.

Here’s a closer look at some of ways we’re helping the planet
