Chiquita is truly a global company. Headquartered in Cincinnati, Ohio, we have 26,000 full-time employees and operations on six continents. We own approximately 90,000 acres (36,400 hectares) and lease about 50,000 acres (20,000 hectares) of improved land, primarily in Panama, Costa Rica, Colombia, Guatemala and Honduras. We also grow bananas on the Ivory Coast and through joint ventures in the Philippines and Australia. Mostly, we use this land for growing, packing and shipping our bananas.
