small change big difference
Our commitment to raising awareness about breast cancer prevention continues—and this year brings another chapter of the Small Change Big Difference campaign. This October, for the first time in the brand’s history, Miss Chiquita steps out from her iconic pose in the Blue Sticker to speak directly, woman to woman, about the importance of prevention and taking care of yourself.
Watch the video to meet Miss Chiquita as real woman and discover her important message for prevention.
A woman first
After more than 80 years on the iconic Blue Sticker, Miss Chiquita is stepping into a new role. Her iconic image is unmistakable—but this time, she’s showing up first and foremost as a woman.
This shift from icon to woman reflects the depth of our commitment to encouraging all women and delivering a powerful message: Don’t miss your moment for prevention.
Even when life gets busy, every moment matters. And every small change in your daily routine—like adopting a healthier lifestyle and scheduling regular screenings—can make a big difference in your life.
Chiquita and The American Cancer Society (ACS) collaboration
In the global mission to fight breast cancer, every one of us has a vital role to play. We are proud to join forces with leading global health organizations and nonprofit institutions to deliver a clear and hopeful message to women around the world: adopting a healthy lifestyle and undergoing regular screening can make a difference.
Our alliance with the American Cancer Society enables us to advance breast cancer awareness, screening, and early detection efforts across the United States, while also supporting essential programs that help patients when they need it most.
Cancer Facts & Figures
The American Cancer Society estimates the number of cancer cases and deaths expected in each state and in the nation each year. Their Cancer Facts & Figures publications provide approximated numbers of new cancer cases, deaths, and survivors, as well as statistics on prevention, early detection, and treatment.
Breast cancer is the most common cancer in women in the United Sates, except for skin cancer. The 2026 Cancer Facts & Figures report includes a section specific to breast cancer and its impact on different populations in the US.
The American Cancer Society does not endorse any products or services.
