Peel the raw shrimp and devein. Peel and finely cut garlic and chili pepper (only the pulp without seeds) and grate ginger. Add to soy sauce.

Place shrimp in a big shallow bowl and pour marinade on top.
Marinade shrimp in the fridge for at least 2 hours.

Cook rice and peas separately according to instructions on package.

Peel and cut banana in long slices and fry until golden.

Fry shrimp with the marinade in a hot frying pan for about 5 minutes until they are just done.

Divide rice and peas between the plates and add fried shrimp and banana at the end.
