  • Chiquita bananas are sweet and healthy

    In terms of health benefits, bananas win hands down over many pre-prepared snacks. They provide a “good” natural sugar – fructose – and a generous helping of fibre that helps to ensure this is slowly digested and absorbed, preventing sugar spikes (the “sugar rush” that leaves you craving more sugary food). Because of the way bananas help people digest sugar, a natural hint of sweetness is just the start of the good news.
