After the cold weather months, the grey skies are finally saying goodbye.
It’s time to welcome the sunshine, the blooming flowers, and blue skies. It’s time to say hello Spring!
It’s time to come out of social hibernation and make the most of the longer days and rising temperatures. Springtime means less screen time and more outside time! Here are some of Chiquita’s favorite springtime activities to help you embrace spring with open arms.
- Outdoor exercising:
Take a break from the gym and get active outdoors. The fresh air will put an extra spring in your step. Go for a run or go for a bike ride. Plus, spring weather is the best outdoor exercising weather−not too hot, and not too cold. The perfect mix of crisp air and rays of sunshine on your skin will make you feel energized! Don’t forget to snack on a Chiquita banana after your exercise. Bananas are full of potassium which can help prevent cramps!
- Put bird feeders out:
It’s not possible to spend all our time outside when we have responsibilities to be fulfilled indoors. However, this doesn’t mean that you can’t stay in touch with nature from the inside. Install a bird feeder in your backyard and bring nature to you.
- Go on a picnic:
Pack a picnic and go the closest park. Bring a book to read, or better yet, bring a friend and share a meal together in the fresh air. - Plant a garden:
